CRC MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Membership renewals are due January 1, 2010. Our club year runs from 1/1/10 thru 12/31/10. Membership dues are $30 for an individual and $35 for a family. If you have any changes we should be aware of, complete the renewal form located at the end of this newsletter, or simply mail your payment to:

As a member, you are entitled to reduced entry fees for club trials, information on upcoming licensed events, and participation in club training groups with other members. You will have a relationship with other retriever owners and opportunities to make new friends and training partners.

The Charleston Retriever Club offers you and your dog many benefits with membership. Currently, the club hosts three club trials, which allow all participating dogs to earn points towards dog of the year in the following categories:

1. Junior Puppy
2. Senior Puppy
3. Bronze Dog
4. Silver Dog
5. Gold Dog
6. Upland Dog
7. Junior Handler

We have plans to host two HRC licensed tests per year, three club trials for placement and training, and routine club training days, there's something for every retriever and handler.

The Charleston Retriever Club is pledged to support and extend our sport of retrievers and upland dog trials. The CRC will run club trials under the club hunt test rules, simulating real life hunting situations with real birds, decoys, blank ammunition, guns, boats, and camouflage clothing. The CRC will sponsor youth, puppy, retriever, and upland trials for placement. We are open to all versatile gun dog breeds.
