Jerry Bozeman: HR UH JUST DUCKY’S JUSTADDUCKS “WOODY” earned a JAM in the Open Division at the BSS Nationals. HRCH UH TARBABY’S BOBO MH “BOBO” earned his Upland Title at Old South HRC on March 29th. HRCH UH TARBABY’S BOBO MH X HRCH UH TUGBOAT ANNIE MH puppies due May 15th.

Burkett Lakes Farm (George/Judy Burkett): We have sold one of our favorites "Luke" to a guy in NC to be trained as a Drug Dog, he is sorely missed but we get to see him as often as we like. Pumpkin is in training with Cara Mock and is coming along nicely. Cara, Felix and Cortney are doing a fine job with her and we are expecting great things from this partnership.

Joey/Terri Edens: Somerset Points Golden Bear earned his Started title in February at the Backwoods HRC in Bennettsville. He is now stepping it up to ready for Seasoned tests in the coming months. He also had a great first season hunting ducks and hunted primarily in Arkansas because he gets heartburn from Alligators raised in the low country….

Chad Funderburk: Penny earned her HRCH title at Down East in February……HRCH Ravenwood’s Miss Moneypenny JH. Cash won Second Place at the Boykin Spaniel Society Nationals in the Intermediate stake. 35 dogs were entered. HR UH Fist Full of Dollars MH.

Danny Gooding: Dusty Steen handled Jacki to her Seasoned title at the WBSC Hunt Test on March 15th. Jacki is now: HR RB Jacki’s All Jacked Up.

Sue Liemohn: Justin, my American Water Spaniel, and I made a three weekend swing through the Southeast passing 6 out of 6 Finished tests and 5 out of 6 Upland tests. We ran Charleston, NE Florida and Central Florida. It was great seeing all of the CRC folks again and meeting more HRC enthusiasts in Florida. It was hard to go back to the cold and snow of Minnesota.

David/Lois McCracken: UH HRCH CH Nighthawk's Carolina You Go Girl MH RE WDS CGC TDI (Gurley) became the first American Water Spaniel ever to earn 500 HRC Championship points! This happened at Cherokee Foothills hunt test.

SHR Carolina's Duck Gumbo, Nappy (David and Lois McCracken) and Jazz’s (Steve and Tracey O’Neal) son, earned his Started title at Cherokee Foothills. Gumbo was only 7 months old! Both Gurley and Gumbo are owned and handled by David and Lois McCracken.

SHR Carolina's Wild March Hare (Bunny) won a Best of Breed at the Greenville All Breed Show on Easter Sunday, which was her first birthday.

Steve/Tracey O’Neal: We wanted to brag about our pup, Carolina’s Cow Creek Pirate – “Pee Dee”, he got his first Started pass at the CRC/HRC test in February.

Dwayne Padgett: Skyler, HRCH Mt. Holly Skyler Blue, has made the cover of the April/May 2008 Hunting Retriever magazine. This is Skyler’s second time making the cover. Maybe a modeling career is in her future??

Kim Parkman: Rebel (UH HR CH Day's End Confederate Rebel, MH) is now a member of the HRC 1000 point club. Rebel surpassed the mark on Feb. 29th at the Northeast Florida HRC test.

Danielle Pellicci: “Paws to Help Kayla”: A DOG-Gone Important FUNdraiser day! Please join us May 10th from 12pm – 4pm at A Dogs Way Inn, 761 Pendergrass Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 for our May dog walk and team “Doggie Decathlon” scavenger hunt. This will be a 50/50 fundraiser to help local 8 year old Kayla Killman receive essential post-surgery medical care after her recent kidney transplant. Dick/Margot Rochester: Ruby got her AKC Master title April 6th at the PRC Hunt Test in Patrick.

Matt Rush: Ace got his Master Hunter the weekend of March 8th....He is now a UH HRCH MH. He is throwing great pups and we have an eight week old litter of yellows and black. We are entered in his first Qualifying stake this month. It's been a long time since we ran "whitecoat trials", but it is a continuous to let him go as far as he can go, with all that he's got.

UH HRCH Rushcreek's Legacy MH has completed his six qualifications for Master Hunter at 3 years of age. He is Rushcreek's Black Marker MH's last son, and our 15th Hunt Test Champion.

DeVon/Dee Dee Ruth: Amanda has yet to save a person from drowning in icy water but she is plodding along in her progress. She received a JAM in Novice at the Boykin Nationals. On April 5 she took second place in the Novice and Seasoned test at the CBSRC. She brings daily smiles to her owners by her interesting antics.
