UH HRCH Carolina's Duck
Gumbo RN WDS CGC, "Gumbo", and his team members, David and Lois McCracken won
the Roustabout at the American Water Spaniel Nationals in new London,
Wisconsin. Gumbo had a time of 2 minutes 43 seconds.
UH HRCH Carolina's
Duck Gumbo RN WDS CGC, "Gumbo", earned his AKC Rally Novice (RN) title at the
American Water Spaniel Nationals.
Steve O'Neal's AWS, HR CH Carolina's
Cow Creek Pirate WDX, "PeeDee", finished 2nd in the AWSC Roustabout. PeeDee's
team members were David and Lois McCracken, since Steve was unable to attend.
Steve O'Neal's American Water Spaniel, HR CH Carolina's Cow Creek
Pirate WDX, "PeeDee", earned his AKC conformation championship at the
Greenville Kennel Club's show. PeeDee took Best of Breed 2 of the 3 days at the
show.
Steve and Tracey O'Neal have a litter of AWS pups. Cow Creek's
Cinderella and UH CH Carolina's Cow Creek Pirate WDX are the parents.
From Sue Liemohn: Gator finished his conformation
championship on August 7th. The following weekend he and Justin did well at the
American Water Spaniel Club Nationals. They went 10 for 10 in the hunt tests
events passing the Master level retrieving certification 3 times each and
passing Working Dog Excellent twice each. On top of that, Gator earned his
third Finished pass on August 21st.
From Dwayne Padgett:
Avery and the Charleston Retriever Club will be conducting a free
training day at Diamond E Farm in Mullins, South Carolina, on October 2nd. Hunt
test scenarios for all levels will be covered and a technical pond will be
available for more advanced work. Any dogs just entering the swim by phase or
needing a refresher in this area will have ample opportunity in another pond
reserved for this type of training. The seminar will start promptly at 8 A.M.
and will end when darkness falls that day. Avery Sporting Dog will be providing
lunch so please bring your dog and join us in a great time.

Diamond E Farm will be having a drawing for 2 people, each with a guest, to
come back for a dove hunt. Diamond E Farm 3003 South Hwy 917
